Karen Vialle the Right Choice

Former Tacoma Mayor Karen Vialle is running for School Board because she believes we need a fresh start for education in this city. As your voice on the School Board, Karen will put the priorities of our students first.

She has the fiscal experience to help Tacoma Public Schools get through its current budget crisis, the commitment to ensure that we spend every educational tax dollar on the things that matter most, as well as the belief that we can successfully fight against the achievement gap in our schools. Karen knows we need a leader who is strong in mind and big in heart, someone who will make sure our future is as bright as the smiles of our students.

Karen brings experience to the school board. Working at both the state and local levels of government, she understands the challenges of elected office and is ready and willing to face them. She will bring fresh ideas and a proven commitment to our children’s education. She will listen, advocate and fight for students and parents alike.
